Can't beat the location, within 5 minutes of the cathedral and train station and right on the edge of the old town with it's Christmas markets,great atmosphere and wonderful "brauhauses" also right on the river.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. Room was ok, bed a decent size and pretty comfortable. Shower ok, but bathroom tiny. There was quite a bit of noise from the train bridge, so avoid if a light sleeper, but I would certainly go back.

Very pleasant, light and airy room, comfortable beds and a super view of the Rhine - excellent value. We couldn't fault the location, so close to the main station, cathedral, museums and ideal for the Christmas markets. Very good breakfast, friendly and helpful personel.

You can't fault this place for location. A few minutes walk from the Dom, rail station, main museums, old town and right on the river front. Didn't eat there so can't comment on food but the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The only minus is that it can get a bit noisy in the early hours from revellers and rubbish coillections.

Excellent wireless internet access in the room -- at no extra charge -- that alone is worth 5 stars!

(Not very easy to find first time round -- it is above the Cosa Nostra restaurant: you need to access it from the small road behind the restaurant!)
