Was the first hotel i've ever stayed in and it was good. I'd reccomend it to anyone. and i liked the brekfast.

I stayed at this hotel a while back when I didn't yet discover tripadvisor.com or expedia.com. The other review are correct, the service is terrible but the rooms are clean., I think for this price, you can most certainly get better value and service.
Also, Maredo steak house was visited in this city when I was still single and I was treated well. However, my Japanese husband and I visited it together in Vienna and we were segregated in a corner with two other tables occupied by a black gentleman and white woman and a white gentleman and a black woman. The hostess was hostile, slamming down our menus and refusing to give us a table in a more open area. Also, I found hairs in my salad. Yuck.

We stayed three nights at Hotel Domspatz and liked this hotel a lot. It was extremly comfortable and the room was very large, very clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I am very disappointed with the poor customer service I received at the Domspatz Hotel and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was very rude, unfriendly, and arrogant, and they even forced us to check out earlier than the posted check-out time that had been advertised on their website -- and they didn't even care that we were inconvenienced! I have traveled all over the world and have stayed in some excellent hotels, and this is the absolute worst that I have ever been treated. When you're traveling and tired, you expect to be greeted by a friendly hotel staff, not a rude and snobish staff like this! While I recommend visiting this charming city, I do not recommend this hotel. Fortunately, there are many other wonderful hotels with competent and friendly staff in the surrounding area within an easy 1-2 minute walk.
