Stayed here for the christmas markets. When the taxi pulled us up the hotel really had the wow factor and looked absolutely wonderful with its christmas decorations.
The location is perfect, right on the doorstep of the cathedral (Dom) which is also the location of the main christmas market. Theres another couple of markets all within walking distance or you can catch a little christmas train from just by the cathedral which stops at all the markets every 20 mins or so and you can just hop on and off.
There are so many bars & restaurants all on your doorstep - the hotel are very good if you need reccomendations.
Overall we had a lovely stay at the hotel, the staff on reception and concierge were brilliant. The rooms were a good size and things like the free mini bar are a very welcome perk. We did have a couple of little hiccups, for example when we arrived at 8pm one of the rooms wasnt ready, but the lady on reception went out of her way to make things right for us - she couldnt appologise enough and we were given complimentary champagne at the bar whilst we waited. No-where is 100% perfect all the time, there will always be little hiccups but its how a place deals with things that counts and we were very satisfied and would not hesitate to return (in fact we are already thinking about booking again for this December !)
