Very good location hotel right opposite Koln's main station. Very handy as I needed a pharmacy and I could use the one in the station. Stayed there for 2 nights and the station was a very handy place to be close to as it is full of fast food outlets. Only a walk away from the down town market with ok shopping and good rates.

The rooms were relatively small yet with nice furniture and a nice bed. The breakfast was quite basic but adequate. Definately not a luxury hotel but good for a short business stay. I would stay again and recomend it due to the location.

In the booking system this hotel still sails under the Sheraton flag, which includes the writen confirmtion.
Check in was fast. After 11 pm phone calls could not be received by the reception anymore, which is poor for a 4* hotel.
The room was small, but the furniture was nice.
The bed was very soft and could be much harder for my tast.
Overall this place is a little 'old fashioned'.
Check in was fast and efficient.

The biggest plus is the very close location to main train station Cologne.
However within walking distance there are several other places, which have a better cost/performance balance.

Booked this hotel in November, when we arrived in January its name etc., had changed and we couldn't find it until a friendly policeman helped us out. Very good hotel, very convenient for railway station, just leave by rear entrance and cross the square. Friendly staff, good rooms, nice bar . Breakfast very expensive but we had a pleasant breakfast in one of many places in station. Excellent venue for station, cathedral, river and city centre.

We were in our hotel rooms less than two hours after leaving London. Excellent central location near the train station. Not the prettiest from the outside due to the work being undertaken but perfectly adequate on the inside. Rooms were good although bathrooms very small. A good and relatively cheap option for a short stay in Cologne.
Just let people know if your going to change the hotel name after they have booked.
