Came back here with our 3 grown up children to visit some of our German relatives who live in Bonn. I have previously reviewed this hotal and can confirm it continues to live up to a very high standard and is a pleasure to stay in.

I had to book 3 rooms and they were all excellent; my son also managed to get a Rhine view! They were all highly impressed by the standard of the breakfast and the waiting/reception staff were very helpful and professional.

All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed several times at the Hotel Koenigshof in Bonn. I used to stay at the Hilton in Bonn until once it was sold out so a colleague made my reservation on Koenigshof, now I am hooked. Although it doesn't have a pool and a gym like the Hilton, one can take nice walks in the city for exercise during the nice weather months. For business travel, it is a very good value. The internet is through T-Mobile Hotspot but the signal strength is excellent and i can work in a virtual environment without issue. It is a very charming hotel with large rooms and comfortable beds, a rarity in Europe. The hotel has a lovely seating area right on the water where you can be served drinks. The restaurant (Italian) is also very good with a good wine selection. The breakfast is bountiful. A limited menu is available from room service. Parking is underground and 15 Euro per night. There is no elevator, so drop your bags off when you check in before you park so you don't need to lug them up the stairs. One side of the hotel faces the Rhine and the other the park and parking lot. So when making reservations, requests a room with a river view. The neighboring park is delightful and the restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Began our European vacation in Bonn staying at Hotel Koenigshof. We got in on an early flight so the room was not ready when we got there. But the Hotel kept our bags and we walked around downtown. They got our room ready in short order and we were able to get to our room to freshen up.

The room was a nice clean cozy room but the view of the Rhein was very nice.

Breakfast was included in our rate, which we booked through ebookers.com.
Excellent breakfast. Eating outside on the covered patio just added to excellent food on the buffet.

The hotel staff was excellent in every way.

Stayed here with a wedding party. Our room had no view but was clean and reasonably spacious with a reasonable sized bath. One friend had a similar sized room with tiny, shower-only bath but it did have a Rhine view. Had a very nice breakfast on covered patio overlooking the Rhine. Hotel is within walking distance of city center but rather of a hike from the train station if you're toting luggage -- a taxi cost 6.5 euro.The hotel was a bit pricey but truly a 4-star. Staff was all nice. Internet is free in the lobby if you use the hotel laptop.
