Stayed in the Acora Bonn for 4 days in October 2007 on a business trip.

The hotel is situated in a residential area and quite a distance away from the centre. However, there is a small shopping mall and a metro station (Tannenbusch Mitte) about 200m away. Trains from this station go to the centre of Bonn and Cologne (50 minutes ride).

The room (#2002) was decent and quiet. Amenities in the room were about the same as those you would find in an Ibis hotel. The bed was comfortable, and shower was good after I figured out how to operate the water heater. There's a kitchenette inside a cupboard and you could do some light cooking.

I liked the free secured parking in the basement and stairs lead you directly to your block from the basement.

Check in/out was quick and breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was quite good.

This is a extend stay hotel. The building itself is fairly ugly -- it looks like a university dorm. The rooms were OK though spartan. My room had a kitchenette unit, with sink, stove, and a small refrigerator. There are laundry machines on site, which you can use for a fee.

Although this hotel is not in the center of Bonn, the location turned out to be pretty convenient. It is a short walk to a subway station which leads right into Bonn. There is supermarket located right next to this station, so I had no trouble provisioning myself.
