We stayed in Park Inn for two nights. While booking our room we asked for a baby crib. When we came to Park Inn there was none in our room. It was very late evening and we had no chance to ask for it. On the next day we got one but it was broken the mattress was not flat (additionally it was dirty). Moreover babysits in the restaurant were weired- shallow and wide- what made feeding baby a real challenge.
Park Inn is known as "the new hotel in Bielefeld". However the bathtube and bathroom armature did not look like being new. Our room was very small. The bed was ok. The view from our window was great- the hotel is situated in the park on the top of the hill.

We just came back from a very pleasant 2 night stay in the Park Inn hotel. The room was clean and the bed was nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sunny outside terras is great for having drinks and/or something to eat. We had dinner twice at the terras and both times it was very well prepared, tasted good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was great, the buffet includes a wide variety of fresh rolls, muffins, cakes, (scrambled) eggs, sausages, bacon, fruit, yoghurt, etc.

The surroundings are very suitable for walking or biking, if you don't mind the (beautiful) hilly area. It is a nice walk to the Bauernhaus museum, the zoo and the botanic garden. Bielefeld has a lot of stores, so also great for shopaholics.

We paid 99 Euros for both of us for two nights including breakfast which was a special summer rate. Absolutely a very good rate and absolutely nothing to complain about!

We stayed at Park Inn for 2 nights and although rooms are clean and breakfast is superb, I was really disappointed at dinner. I ordered chicken and it was totally dry and soaked in salty sauce - definitely not freshly made. I complained, and they offered me a coffee, but this is not done in a 4 star hotel, The prices for a meal are 4 stars, but the quality and quantity of the meal are 1 or 2 stars. Moreover, I am on a glutenfree diet and although I requested in advance for a glutenfree meal, at check in, the receptionist did not know what it was, the kitchen informed me that it was not possible. Therefore: average.

Hotel is on top of a hill. Town centre is walking distance (down hill). Not suggested if it is raining as part of the way is through a forest like path. If you are returning on foot you have to be a bit fit to get up the hill.
Rooms are basic but clean and it is quiet. What I like is that each room has a little hall. Here you will find hanging space for your cloth. From here you enter the actual room, thus giving you two doors towards the hotel hall. This makes it very quiet when other guest return or leave their room. Breakfast is very good and you'll find a large selection from continental type breakfast to nearly full english breakfast.
Rooms are facing either towards the hotel road or towards a small forest overlooking the town. If you sleep with your window open you should ask for a room facing the forest.
I stay in this hotel at least four times a year and found this the best value for money.
