Location: This hotel is adjacent to the Bielefeld central railway station and at the hub of the tram system. Bielefeld is a small city, so pretty much all hotels would be reasonably convenient. But this hotel is absolutely tops for location.
Suggestion: Stroll around the downtown area, including the pleasant shopping streets in the older secton of town. Bielefeld is a pleasant provincial town.
Rooms: My medium sized room was clean and well furnished with desk, comfortable bed, and normal amenities such as hotpot for coffee/tea. Bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom included sink.
Suggestion: Request room facing the station plaza for a bit of a view in exchange for a bit of noise. My room faced a building close up to the rear of the hotel.
Service and Meals: The front desk staff was efficient and helpful, with a nice orientation toward service. The breakfast buffet was satisfying, with a nice range of offerings. One quibble – the internet was not free, with mid-level charges. Not cheap. Not utterly outrageous.
Suggestion: the website account creation / login / payment option did not work for me. The front desk is able to create an account and place charges on your hotel bill.
