The hotel is pleasantly situated in the suburbs near woodland walks. There is a good bus service into Aachen but this does mean that it sits on the corner of two busy roads controlled by traffic lights so expect some noise.

I had no problems with the swimming pool.

The bedroom however was spartan with no carpet on the floor and the only mirror was in the bathroom (shower not bath actually).

The central heating worked fine.

The eating area was very cramped and the evening meal took forever because of the slow service.

The staff at reception were pleasant and helpful.

Stayed at this hotel for three nights while on a coach trip to see the Christmas markets. A warm, friendly welcome by the staff. I think we stayed in the older part of the hotel, as the furniture seemed old. The bedroom was of a decent size with two low small single beds.It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast I have to say wasn't the best, although it was the first time I had stayed in Germany, and perhaps because it was quite a large coach trip we were given a basic breakfast of flakes or muesli, brown bread, cheese and meat, boiled egg and orange juice. The coffee was delicious. Evening meals were plentiful and on our third night had a gala dinner of six courses! Which was absolutely delicious, and the service was second to none. Could have done with having more places to sit and relax in the evening, but otherwise a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

great rooms and very friendly,bathrooms not up to much but loads of hot water.parking a problem but good access to town center which is lovely.sat up very late drinking no problems.this hotel is exactly as described on the website and was ideal for our trip to the spa grand prix.a trully great week .thankyou

Street parking only,small layby close by ,very very busy juction, brilliant bus service to town center.Hotel very clean and comfortable,beds very low it`s not easy getting in and out if like me there is a medical problem,laminated flooring inside and outside the rooms people can be heard walking at all times ,there were complaints from other guest`s.Our friends had their minifridge malfunction leaving an acrid stench in the room and had to be moved at 0400 hrs, feeling very ill afterwards they approached the hotel who felt they had done their bit and dismissed the complaint very abruptly.After booking a table in the restaurant via the reception we were made to wait outside whilst chairs were transported from various locations in the hotel as our reservation had not been prepared, it was a very uncomfortable experience, but once settled the food and waiter service was exemplary,breakfast was a treat,real bacon, fresh fruit,cereal, eggs, toast, wonderful!!
