We found this to be a pleasant enough hotel, about 20 minutes walk from the train station. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. We had a quiet night. We don't know how the breakfast is. During our stay (one night) the lift was not working. There is a full flight of stairs from the street entrance to the reception desk, with apparently no lift available at all. There is wifi free in the lobby.The staff at the desk are friendly and willing to help with luggage.

What a horrible experience. The cleanliness of this place was incredibly poor. The towels had a rank moldy smell. The pillows and bedding were no better. No top sheet meant you slept directly under the comforters (but this appears to be common in Germany). The rooms have not been remodeled since the 60/70s, and the furniture is also giving off a rotting wood smell. A cheap plastic wall lamp was simply broken and hanging on by the electrical cord. The 6 inch TV with fuzzy channels is barely worth a mention. Had to sleep with the windows open, unfortunately, Seilgraben is not a quite street. In fact it is a major thoroughfare, but I chose breathing to a quiet night's sleep. Also the hotel is not handicap accessible at all. The lobby is two floors above the entrance level, with no lift and no assistance with bags. Shockingly poor, avoid at all costs.
