Spent two nights in a "privilege" double room. Very average hotel, with clean but dreary rooms. Hotel staff was friendly. The walk into the Dom (cathedral) area is 25-30 minutes at a fairly quick speed (definitely NOT the 10-15 minutes advertised). There is a bus you can take for 1 euro each way. The Carolus Thermen is only about 10 minute walk away and well worth a visit.
The "privilege" rooms give you free wi-fi and parking, plus double points, some cheap (not very comfortable) bathrobes and use of the minibar (1 beer, 1 coke, 1 fanta, 1 water, 1 orange juice). Not sure that it's worth it, but that is all they had left when I booked.
Breakfast was mediocre, particularly for 16euro per person. The buffet had all of the basics, with scrambled "eggs" (powdered), bacon, sausage, some cheese and meat, frozen berries and yogurt (plus a limited selection of breads). I would recommend eating outside of the hotel for half the price, but of course you'll have to drive or walk 30 minutes into town as there is virtually nothing in the direct area.
The poor location of the hotel (relative to the tourist center) is reflected in the price, which was about 50% less than other hotels more central - so no complaints there.
Overall, I would rate a "skip" unless you have no other viable option.
