I stay in this hotel quite often but, to be honest, it is mainly because I'm collecting priority club points.
The building is somewhat older (from the seventies I guess) and not very attractive. The rooms are ok, just average hotel rooms without being particularly stylish, spacious, or comfortable. The windows are not close-fitting and you will have noise and airflow from outside. The public areas and the restaurant are also ok. I tried dinner just once and did not really like it. Breakfast is quite nice.
The hotel is located close to the Autobahn at a noisy 4 lane road. It is close to the soccer stadium (Tivoli) and about 3 mls from downtown. There is a bus station 100 yds away with a good connection to the center. There is a parking lot in front for free. The neighborhood is a commercial area with no restaurants (except fast food) or shops. 200 yds away there is an area with street prostitutes. However, you would not notice unless you like to walk around in the evening.
Staff at the reception is friendly but the night shift is in most cases a nightmare. I happened to repeatedly meet poorly trained staff not finding my reservation, not being able to program my key card (or programming it wrong which required me to go down again 2 or 3 times), giving me a smoking room, and, in particular, needing 30 minutes to print my invoice.
They often forget to deliver a newspaper to my door in the morning (which you get as a priority club member). Sometimes they did not answer my emails regarding a reservation request.
Bottom line: OK, but there are similar or better places for less money.
