The best of the hotel is its location. More central is not possible. From the lobby, the pedestrian area is just 50 steps away. Part of the hotel is actually integrated in a small downtown shopping area. Therefore the hotel is perfect for visiting historic Rostock and shopping in the historic district (and main pedestrian area). Restaurants and fast food are very close, also shops for food or beverages are nearby. The lobby and bar of the hotel are modern and stylish. The rooms however, are average. No complaints, but just basic business hotel style. The German pay TV channel with soccer and some movies is free.
If you get a good rate online, do not hesitate to choose the Penta. It was quiet, the bed comfortable - and it offers: location, location, location.

What a nice hotel. Friendly and the very best location. A large lobby to relax in. Staff very friendly. A lot of restaurants near by. Would gladly stay here again.

This hotel was less than 1 minute from the city center and the shopping district. The ocean was just a few minutes more. The town is a university town with a fun vibe. The hotel embodied the same feel with modern design and welcoming staff. The rooms were basic penta rooms. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was included in the price with hot and cold selections. Would definitely stay here again. Parking is in a city lot with a special hotel rate.

Stayed for one night while passing by. Great hotel, everything worked as it should. Had three beds and a baby bed ready in the room when we arrived. Just like we wanted. Room was very spacious. Breakfast was great. Parking wasn't free, but very convenient.
