very good hotel. Good location and brand new rooms.Huge bathroom and very confortable bed. Very very clean. Service very efficient and polite. Nice sauna and relax area. Only few things, parking and breakfast ( i placed the booking thrue internet and was not included) a little bit expensive that increase the price of the room in around 70 euros if you stay one nigth.

We stayed for one night at the Remarque to visit the Christmas Market, which was conveniently located just down the street. Various small requests, such as requesting an ice bucket “ice cooler” all were handled quickly and efficiently. In the evening of our one night stay, while getting ready to leave for the market, we noticed that the smell of cigarette smoke was drifting into our (non-smoking) room from the (non-smoking) hallway. Opening the window or turning on the air conditioner didn’t help because it caused the smoke smell to circulate in the room more. Downstairs we noticed that the lobby was an open smoking area and that it appeared to be the smoke from the lobby that drifted up in to the open floors above. Upon informing the front desk, we were told that German law allowed the guests to smoke and that there was nothing they could do about it. We ended up having a horrible night of sleep in a stuffy, smoky room. In the morning, we once again informed the front desk staff of the issue and our bad night of sleep. They told us that because we didn’t inform them in time to change our room that there was nothing that could be done. When we said that we had complained the night before and the response was that it was law, we were again told that there was nothing they could do and that we should have changed rooms. The smell of smoke ruined our sleep and our stay at Steigenberger Remarque.

The rooms are very nice, modern and tastefully furnished. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a large mirror, unfortunately no extra socket for your own hairdryer (one is already provided).
Bed war comfy, minibar well stocked, room airy and light. Even though we had a room next to the lifts, we didn't hear them at all.
Reception staff was friendly and eager to help.

I am returning client. Have been in that hotel about 10 times. Every time i am very satisfied. The rooms are clean, quite, comfortabe, with tv, internet and minibar. The staff is super friendly and the brekfest very big with hudge choice of bred, jogurts, egs, sosages etc. and up until 10.30. They have smoking and non smoking rooms, and also small smoking launge at the holl. A very nice atmosphere at the bars with piano music, nice to seat in the evenings. The only minus it that you have to pay for internet ascces (5euro per day) and for english tv.
The localistation is perfect, next to shooping center and all restaurants. I highlt recomend this place to stay next time you are in Germany.
