My husbands old squadron arranged to stay here for an old boys reunion because they were stationed within the town some 30 years ago. Hotel very clean, and helpful. Bar Staff worked hard! No beverage facilities in rooms or foyer, had to purchase at the bar, a liittle expensive at 4 euros for a cup of tea. Food reported by those of the group who ate at the hotel was good value. Situated convieniently on bus route to town and adjacent to large supermarket and petrol station, there was a subway also opposite. We had a really good weekend and the staff were very patient! Wi fi expensive

Happy about:
I went here with my boyfriend for a week of relaxing. I am almost 9 months pregnant, so it was very important to me the room was comfortable and it so was. The staff is always there and very helpful. The manager rocks, because I saw him vacuum cleaning some dirt that fell of someones boot in the breakfast area. A manager who is not afraid to help around impresses me.
Osnabruck is also a great city to stay in. It is surrounded by gorgeous hills and historical villages. I especially liked Tecklenburg and Bad Iburg. It is also great for biking, which my boyfriend did a lot.

Not so happy about:
Paying € 4,- a day for parking and the use of wifi is not so cheap (€ 7,- a day or so). In my opinion wifi should be free. There is a free internet computer near the bar though. I used it and it is fast.

Location:
Not so pretty: it is on the outside of Osnabruck and is surrounded by industry (car dealerships, huge supermarkets, a Subways, etc). The hotel is closed in by beautiful trees though and has nice garden.

Breakfast:
Yummie and diverse: they serve fresh fruit salad, many styles of yoghurt (the yoghurt with big chuncks of airy chocolate is to die for). There are pastries, healthy breads, crackers, a muesli bar and a variety of beverages. With good wheather you can eat in the garden, lovely.

I was sleepng there for a night before a business meeting in Bramsche.
Rooms are ok but wi fi is really expensive.
I didn't find the usual service I have in other Ibis in Europe.
My wife was with me during my business trip and she forgot a pair of shoes.No e-mail or phone calling to tell me they found them,notwithstanding I'm an Accor Gold member.
