I have been in this hotel now three years in a row and they are currently remodeling/expanding. The photos on the website are from their nicer rooms, so do not expect those to be the typical room. Some of the new rooms have balconies and terraces, which is nice.

The university typically places me in one of the single rooms which are compact, yet everything you need. For Euro 57/night this is quite reasonable if breakfast is included. Some gripes: the bed is a little small (for tall people) and hard, the closet has only 3 hangers and to poop you have to fold yourself origami style to fit onto the bowl. Otherwise, it is OK.

Breakfast buffet is extensive and very good. No complaints, on the contrary! It is always neatly stocked and fresh.

Some nice gestures: Upon arrival you get a beer voucher, there is always delicious german candy in the lobby area and upon departure you get a lunch bag to go.

Stayed one night in a twin room. There were no parking places left. The room was tiny and the curtains were light cotton and there was no black-out screens so the glare from the street lights lit up the room all night. There was traffic noise all night, I had a terrible nights sleep. The TV didn't work.

One night was enough.
