I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights, and had a very nice stay. The hotel is situated very near the Messe, it was only a minute away. I was staying at the hotel as a holiday, and for this purpose the hotel was also ideal! The hotel was really easy to find when arriving by car, you simply follow the sign towards "Messe". On the back side of the hotel there were plenty of free of charge parking spaces, and the parking area was well lit. I suppose the hotel could be somewhat difficult to find if you arrive by public transportation, although the tramline number 1 leaves directly from the airport to the hotel. The tramstop was 15 minutes walk from the hotel, this was ok for me, and the tram left every seven minutes or so.
The price of this hotel varies a lot depending on whether there is an exhibite going on at the Messe or not. When I stayed there the price was very low because there was no exhibite. I recommend booking through the hotels web page, I found the price was much better there than on any of the online booking engines.
Although being so close to the Messe, the hotel was situated in a relativly calm area. On the one side of the hotel there was a monastery (buddism) and on the other sides different logistics companies, the only noise from these companies came during daytime. There is a train passing not very far from the hotel, for some this may be a problem but I didn't here it as long as the windows were closed.
I stayed in a business room with a french bed, the room was very cosy and big and had good working space as well. The hotel was airconditioned, this was really nice as it was more than 35C outside some of the days. You could control the airflow and temperature on a panel inside the room. All the rooms have a "spy" and security chain,The bathroom was nice and new, big mirrors and spotlights. Size was ok, not very big but not to small either. Good shower but could have been cleaned a little bit better.
Breakfast was included in the price - and what a breakfast! Bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage as well as many different types of cheese, fruit, youghurt, cereals, croissants, different types of coffee and even "Sekt" for those who would like a sparkling start. The restaurant/breakfastroom was nicely presented. My only negative input would be that they sometimes didn't clear the tables fast enough so that people had to wait to get a clean table, there should have been more than one type of juice, and the coffee was ok, but not that good.
Using your own computer in the hotel was expensive, but there was a computer in the lobby that was free of charge. You could also deposite things in the hotels safe, this was also free of charge and you got your own little box with your own key.
The restaurant was open during the evenings as well but I didn't visit it. Some nights it is closed due to few guests. Some nights they offered warm buffet, other nights A la Carte. The prices on the a la carte menu were a bit high but I've seen higher. Alternatively, there are plenty of places arround the hotel where you could buy something to eat. McDonalds and Burger King were both withing walking distance, and in the "Netto"shop across the street they had a nice bakery.
