The hotel and the room is quite standard and no complain about it. The location of the hotel is next to a stadium, which could be disturbing when there's sport event going on. Unfortunately there was a soccer match being held in the stadium on the day that we arrived. The road to the hotel was blocked and we had difficulties driving directly to the hotel. Our room was facing the stadium, which we could hear the noises from there. But other than that, the location is OK. The city is within walking distance from the hotel.

Overall, we are satisfied with the stay in this hotel. The room was clean and considered spacious in the European standard.

We stayed here for 12 nights in August while supporting a sports event close to the hotel. We were not warned about the lake festival that would be happening at the time totally disrupting any chance of a peaceful stay. Neither were we warned about the building work to refurbish the entrance foyer during our stay. The charges for Internet
access are extreme and wifi is only free for one hour/ day and only then if you sit in the lobby which was destroyed during our stay. Limited menu with no changing daily specials. Rooms comfortable but no tea/coffee making facilities. Friends stayed in another hotel nearby with much better facilities at less than half the price.

The hotel is a standard Courtyard hotel, so not quite as luxurious as a regular Marriott hotel. It is a little frayed around the edges and currently undergoing large scale refurbishments, so if you expect a speckless lobby it may be worth checking progress ahead before making the booking. The rooms are generally divided between city side (view over a tree) and lake side (view over man-made lake). The gym is miniscule, as are most hotel gyms in Germany, but you can go running around the lake, which is a consolation. Breakfast is pretty standard but the service is good and they remember guest's choices and preferences, which is nice.

The hotel was in the ideal location for sightseeing and the schutzenfest . The staff were helpfull and couldn`t do enough for us .
