The location close to the Hauptbahnhof is convenient for late arrival in Hannover - just 2 minutes from the east exit. The hotel was clean and decor etc was OK. The service was OK, but not great. Unfortunately I didnt sleep at all well, which is unusual for me. I had a twin room with two thin beds, fitted with very small and thin duvets. But the biggest problem was the thin walls which meant that it was quite noisy, even just the TV from adjoining rooms could be clearly heard into the early morning.

We went to Hannover for New Years Eve (Silvester). We booked the day before and although we were unable to book a double room as there were none available, we booked a non-smoking suite. The price wasn't too bad and I liked the idea of having a suite.
When we arrived we discovered our suite was in fact smoking, it stank. My partner (German) was upset and he asked the receptionist to move us. She said there was only one other choice, a non-smoking double room but we would have to pay the same price as the suite. We wanted to book the non-smoking double but had been told there was none available! We ended up staying in the suite, at least we would get our moneys worth.
The interior was clean but very dated, the shower good (although the screen only covered half of it so water went all over the floor) and the beds comfortable. There were no tea or coffee making facilities, and we did not get the complimentary drink from the bar that was promised when we booked. The gym that I had been looking forward to using was not within the hotel but a ten minute walk away - and it didn't open until 10.30am.
The location was great for us as we were taking the train and it is right behind the station (though in a dodgy area), however not terribly aesthetically pleasing. Though it is very close to the municipal park which is a lovely walk (or run in my case).
All in all it balanced out, as it was new years day they moved the checkout time to 2pm and breakfast ran on until 12 noon.

Superb location! Next to the central station which is the main shopping district in Hannover city centre, which is really jsut 1 minute walk around the corner. Breakfast was great, with a wide range of food for you to choose. Nice friendly staff, no problems at all.

Rooms could do with an upgrade or renovation as they are a little bit out dated. But the haribo golden bears sweet packets on the pillows was nice.

Not very easy to find the hotel as it looked like an office block at 2am in the morning. Make sure you get to the hotel early.

The negatives: (a) No a/c when it's hot (b) Extremely LOUD disco next door

The disco was loud every night of the week except Sunday until 5:30 am, making it impossible to leave the windows open in very warm weather.
