This is one of the more affordable hotels I found when I was planning my vacation in Hannover. I was actually expecting less because the other hotels in the area are considerably more pricey. I was pleasantly surprised.

It was a cozy hotel. The room that we had was very large and could easily fit more people. It was also clean and well-made. The twin beds were warm and comfortable. I was with my boyfriend at the time so I would've preferred a double bed rather than the twin beds they moved right next to each other but I was fine with it. The bathroom could use some improvements though. It was small and the shower area didn't have any doors or curtains that would prevent water from spilling onto the whole floor area. It didn't have a good drainage system either so our bathroom would be wet for hours after we took a shower.

The hotel is right in the heart of the city which is both the boon and bane of this hotel. Everything is located within reach. Restaurants are plentiful, the shopping centers and boutiques are a short stroll away, there's a grocery store nearby, and the train station which has a money changer and a bank is just a stone's throw away. However, because of its very location, it could get a bit noisy at night. The room we had was facing the center of the plaza and had restaurants below it so we had to close our window at times so that we could have some peace and quiet. I didn't mind it that much because it was cool inside the room anyway.

Overall, I was very satisfied with this place. It's well worth every penny I paid for the 6 nights that I stayed. I would definitely go back If I ever found myself in Hannover again.

Andor Plaza is locate very close to the central train station in Hanover; just 2min walk across a Plaza. There are regular trains to Messe exhibition grounds so the hotel is very convenient for CeBIT visitors.
Rooms are small and basic but provide all necessities for business travelers (work desk, internet connection, etc).
B/F is good, buffet style and staff are courteous and accommodating.
Overall, for such a centrally located hotel, their prices tend to be a lot better than other nearby hotels during CeBIT; so it's good value for money.

A good business/conference hotel with most if not all that you would expect to go with that. Little by way of lobby/lounge/bar facilities. Comfortable room with good amenities. Well serviced.
Good quality buffet breakfast with good variety of hot and cold dishes frequently refreshed and restocked.
Paid underground parking via a less- than-modern lift that was out of service as we wanted to leave!
Very close to main railway station, good access from inner ring road and reasonable walk to city centre. Immediate surroundings less than attractive (including rough sleepers in public space nearby).
Fit for purpose.

All in all a very smart business gaff with all you need for a pleasant short stay.

Comfy beds and bed clothes (check out the spare pillows in the wardrobe), new age bathroom (read modern, functional but small) with good shower and lighting, a fair sized room with cable TV (but only German channels unless you want pay-per-view films or porn), in-room safe (bonus), fridge (mini bar, quickly emptied for our own drinks), very good internet connection via supplied cable (although chargeable), enough storage space (including a luggage rack) and a useful writing desk & lamp combo. They even had decent grooming products by Nivea, which is a first.

The only downside was no direct heating/cooling control (it was very warm on our arrival) but you can open the window and a small sticky patch on the desk (old coffee cup stains?), yes, right where I first put my hand...

My bedside lamp bulb wasn't working (quickly replaced) and the TV remote gave up the ghost (again replaced) but aside from that, we are very happy here and are looking forward to our second night. Indeed, we like Hannover and the hotel so much, that we wanted to come back the following week, but the price is going up.

We paid 42€ per night for a double but as the school holidays are now over, the business rates kick in again and they want three times the cost for the same room, although with breakfast included. We declined their offer pretty sharpish- no way will we pay over 120€ for this standard hotel room.

We've booked into another alternative and will post up the review in due course.
