This stylish hotel is a former factory for Pelikan Pens and is wonderful example of an historic preservation and conversion gone write…sorry I couldn’t resist!

The good: The rooms are big and have very tall ceilings -- a benefit from the artistic conversion from factory to hotel. Service is highly professional and attentive. Bedding (important to me) is clean, crisp and comfortable. Dining options are really good - - the morning breakfast service is nice but not great. The adjacent Twelve Apostle’s restaurant serves wonderful artisan pizzas and affordable wine - - what’s not to like about that combination?

Faults? Some – but considering other Hannover lodging options, they are not important. (Dated décor and bathrooms could use a renovation but are perfectly fine as they are.)

All in all - - -if in Hannover on business, the Sheraton Pelikan is a very good option.

Not close to town but close enough especially if you're here working. Best hotel by far. Large rooms, great service and staff, very good room service. 12 Apostle restaurant is right in front for a nice meal. Gym is professional 3rd party but free to guests and is excellent. Starwood lounge is disappointing, breakfast is subpar, wireless connection sucks.

The hotel itself is quite lovely. Design is eclectic, rooms very stylish. Our room had different colored walls, but it wasn't garish, it just seemed to work. The bed was a little strange, placed on an angle without a headboard. This was not conducive to sitting up in bed to watch tv or read. However, it was a very comfortable sleep.
Location was a little out of the way but there is a tram stop just outside the hotel so that worked out just fine. There is a small convenience store close by but no restaurants or cafes. The hotel did do a very nice breakfast and they have room service all night. All in all a very nice stay.
