Arrived on New Year's day, check-in was fast and friendly. The room was very nice, large double bed, nice flat screen TV, free internet, room safe and mini bar. The bathroom had all the amenities one would expect and it was very clean. I had a room in the back away from the street front, if you are a light sleeper you might request this as there are trams running on the street in front of the hotel. The lobby is nice, has an area for seating, and also has a dinning room. I did not eat meals at the hotel, breakfast is offered at 13euros which I found fairly expensive. You can walk back to the train station for breakfast or there are many bakeries in the area that serve coffee, juice etc. From the train station's main entrance just turn to your right walk along the street as it curves and within 5 minutes you will be at the hotel, it is just pass the police station. The hotel is in an excellent position for shopping and for transportation.

We stayed for two nights and was more than happy with this hotel the location is brilliant couple of minutes walk to the Christmas Market's, train station shops and bars. The hotel was very clean and with free chocolates what more can you ask for! We do have only one complaint the bar - the drinks were good and although it is only small bar the atmosphere was always good apart from the smokers that is. The complaint is that it shuts early on a Sunday night so be warned if you think you will head back to the hotel for a night cap you will be very disappointed.

13 of us stayed in single rooms at the Hotel Loccumer Hof. I booked all the rooms via e mail and was given an excellent rate. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station and the main market square. The rooms contained single beds (exactly what was booked) and were clean and comfortable. The showers served their purpose of washing off the soot which had been accumulated from the various open fires which we gathered around supping gluwein. Breakfast was excellent, if a tadge on the expensive side (that's the problem with the Euro) so I would recommend eating in one of the numerous cafes within the main shopping precinct. There are so many decent places to eat in Hannover that unless you are on a business trip with your meals included I would recommend that you explore and enjoy the eating experience away from the hotel.

Well positioned in Hannover, just a short walk from the central train station, itself 20 mins train journey from the airport. Only walking distance to the shopping area & the old town, where you will find bars & restaurants, also the river. We found the staff at the hotel to be helpful and spoke good English. The rooms were clean, the bed linen and towels changed every day, Shower room & toilet spotless, shower gel,hand lotion and hairdryer provided. Beds were very comfortable, temperature in room was comfortable, TV and mini bar good, also internet connection if you required it
