“decaying step by step”

I was staying once a year in this hotel for the past 5-6 years. What I can say is that is going worse and worse.
For that period of time nothing haas been chaged there. My last visit was this year and I do not intend to come back anymore.
Rooms:
1. Not renovated for long period of time;
2. Airconditioning in the room was not enough to warm up the room. When I called reception instead of extra heater they brought extra blanket...
Food:
1. Very limited breakfast - no espreso, no bananas on fruit corner.
2. Service in the restaurant is poor - people not enogh so do not expect somebody to take away empty plates. During breakfast you have to wait for delivery of new empty glasses for juice or for teapots.
3. We tried dinner - the cook I think was a student who came to have some practice. We asked for a bottle of red wine in ENG and in ITA languages but somehow the waiter was so "good" that told us we do not have it!!!
Services:
1. Internet is available for a modst tax of 5,5 EUR/h. Guys, Internet is free in business hotels.
2. Fitnes - working hours over the weekend start from 8:00. For a events oriented hotel where you stay close to the fair is too late. The equipment is ancient. No ventilation and when 4 people are inside the fitness imagine what happens. Strangely the fitness area is populated by people in their 80s. I assume hotel did a kind of promotion for retired in the nighbourhood. Imagine what feels an active guy who came for a fair and wants to do morning gym for 30 mins and has to wait for the threadmill...
3. Free Shuttle to the fair - hotel is close to the fair (10 EUR by taxi) and they offer free shutle. This is a perfect conflict point. Obvoiusly all visitors to the fair are going there at one and the same time and in order to get in the bus you have to fight. Miss the first one does not necessarily means that you will be in the next one - you have to fight. So do not waste your time - have a taxi.

As stated before all the cost savings done by hotel administration made the place a bad one. I do not intend to stay there anymore.

It was a congress and the hotel was relatively full. Even though the staff was friendly and helpfull.
I especially like the parking garage behind the hotel(from the hotel).
Rooms are not ultra modern but well within expectations. Housekeeping did n excellent job.
Breakfast was excellent!
Including gluten and lactose free items!

Good location

NOT a 4 Stars HOTEL, but very good location.
A bit over expensive, very poor breakfast!!

“Good value for visitors of fairs in Hannover”

We visited CeBIT 2010 and stayed at Copthorne Hannover for four nights. The location was excellent for those attending fairs, and there was a shuttle to and from the fair ground every day. The breakfast was excellent. The only thing worth complaining about was a thing called Finnish sauna! It wasn't sauna at all but a rather warm room with horrible stink of eucalyptus or something. Still, we enjoyed infrared sauna and swimming pool. The Irish pub at the hotel was great.

Okay, there was another thing to complain about, too, and it was that there was not free internet access available. Must be, always

I would like to thank your for your review of your most recent stay at our hotel during Cebit Fair.
As Front Office and Guest Relation Manager I am responsible for the well-being of our valued guest while staying at the hotel and was happy to read that your overall experience with us was plausible.
I also noted that the use of our sauna facilities was not to your liking. I can assure you that this has been taken up for investigation in order to improve our already high standards which we meassure ourself with.
