Have a couple of nights here, recommended by a supplier, and to be fair the hotel is fine, it is in the middle of town which is great for getting around, as such we eat out and did not use the hotel services. It is very close to the train station and road, but I slept fine and did not get disturbed. not pretty for views, but good value and central location.

This hotel is within easy walking distance of the railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. An excellent buffet breakfast is available.

We stayed at InterCity Gottingen for two nights in October 2008. For two non german speaking people, we found the hotel very eaasily from the train station, actually, we saw it from the train when we arrived, so it was too easy! We were greeted by very friendly staff, who despite saying their English was poor, it was actually very good. They recommended restaurants and places to go and how to get there. The decor is quite dated, but who cares? The room was nice, although i don't understand the Germans putting two single beds together to make a double. weird. A great base for a two day visit to a really lovely town.
