We had a very nice stay here. The furniture is a little dated, but the room was quiet and comfortable, and the bathroom had recently been updated. Staff was very pleasant, housekeeping good, and the breakfast buffet was really nice, with chopped fresh fruit, yogurt, sweet rolls, and cereals in addition to the usual bread, cheese, and coldcuts. I really appreciated the location right in the historic city center.

The only potential issue is lack of air conditioning. We were comfortable in July with the windows open, but it could be a problem in a heat wave.

Rooms are clean and that's the only good thing i can say about this overpriced hotel. First of all rooms are very small, especially on the 4th floor (BTW, elevator don't go to the 4th floor, you need to get out on 3rd floor take the stairs). Don't expect air conditioner, there is very old fan if you like. There are only two towels in the room and they're not a more than an old cloth. Bathroom is so small that they couldn't fit the sink inside, so the sink is next to your bed!. Taking a shower is very difficult as there is not a constant flow of hot water, so expect some "freezing" shocks during the shower. Wireless access is available but signal in the room is so weak that it is impossible to access internet in your room. On the other hand, there is a pc available downstairs for internet access- but no printing, no office, not any other single program except internet explorer.

Go somewhere else and keep your money.

There's nothing you HAVE to complain about: You've a clean room and get some breakfast, in a really central location. But that's all.

The Fruehlingshotel in Braunschweig is definetly a place where you won't feel homey.

Never experienced such a poor service before. Reservation system can't distinguish between double & twin, parking lot was full (which was an advantage: street parking is cheaper on weekends), furniture of rooms is from the time of my grandmas youth, smelly, bad mattress.

Breakfast room to small, unappetizing buffet: E.g. camebert was "flowing" around, scramled egg smelled like fish, croissants and even rolls went out every morning, impolite staff.

The whole appearance was loveless.
