We stayed here for 2 nights while traveling into Wolfsburg for the World Cup games.
The good:
Braunshweig itself is completely charming and worth a visit. This hotel is within walking distance to MANY bars, restaurants, adjacent to a beautiful square and rooms are clean and decent. Although there was a language barrier, the staff was quite helpful and patient while we fumbled through the German language.

The bad: If you want to be near the train station, its really way too far to walk. The internet is slightly a hassle as you get a printed receipt with long log in for your time and the signal is not always at full. The work-out facility is off-site, but nice. The rooms could use some updates for what 4 star quality should be, and in a couple of the rooms, the shower was a little too cage-like for our taste but certainly manageable.

Overall, I would go back to this hotel as the charm of the city can really be experienced from this location.

July was very hot,hotel has no air con,not even fans!!We had to leave windows open so could hear all the noise from the square,lots of singing(not good singing!!)from drunks,and tooting of horns,drivers racing around the square.Friends and daughter in other rooms also disturbed.Noise goes on in early hours of the morning.
Also a good place to get mosquito bites,have never had so many.
Anyone that watched Fawlty Towers might like to stay here!!

We stayed just for one night in this hotel and liked every bit of it. It is easy to find, it has a nice parking area right in front of it, and the location is very central. The rooms are modern, spacious and quiet. The hotel also has a very good Italian restaurant and if the weather is nice there are tables outdoors where under the shades of the trees one can enjoy their superb gastronomy. There are just a few downsides: We found the receptionists somewhat cold but efficient, and the free fitness club they advertise is actually a few hundred meters away in a busy shopping street, while the in-house health club is actually a separate outfit and hotel guests have to pay. We found the room rate very acceptable and good value. I am not sure this is a two-star hotel as reported on your website - I think it is at least a 3 if not a 4-star hotel. All in all a place we would definitely again consider.
