We always stay at the Aquarius when visiting a relative in Braunschweig (about 5 times now). Yes, it is a little way from the town, but it only takes a few minutes to drive into Braunschweig by car. The hotel is set in the beautiful nature reserve of Riddagshausen, and the hotel itself is very comfortable, with Sky TV, swimming pool, sauna, ample parking, and good food. We have found the staff to be very welcoming, friendly and helpful - particularly as we don't speak (much!) German. We love it!

“Ok hotel, but far from the city”
I stayed at Hotel Aquarius for three days, while on a Business trip with work. I attended a conference in the city center of Braunschweig. The hotel is far way from the center, and I had to use a taxi.
The room was a bit old, but ok, however it was no air conditioning in the room, and it was problems with some of the lights at the bathroom.
The breakfast in the morning was very good.
