We needed a room for only one night and this hotel was a very good choice. It's close to the city centre (10 min) and you can walk through the ‘Kurhaus’ park. There's free parking on the street in front of the hotel but they also have 4 free parking spaces in the courtyard.
Room was clean and not too small. It was facing the shady side therefore it was cool although it was a hot day (I don’t remember whether there was an air-condition or not). Staff is nice, only breakfast is a bit expensive. But you can always take a walk to the park or city centre and have it there (all cafes serve breakfast).

Hotels in Wiesbaden are extremely expensive. As we needed to stay just one night, we decided not to spend too much. The location of the hotel is about 10 minutes walk TO the pedestrian area in Wiesbaden's center, but the walk back is a bit uphill and it took us 20-25 minutes to walk in hot weather. The room was plain, small old TV set, they charge a lot for wifi so I skipped the idea. Parking is limited. Either under a roof for 9 euros per day or if you come early enough you can park for free in the front of the hotel. There is no air condition in the hotel like in many 3 star hotels in Europe, in summer Wiesbaden tends to be very hot and visitors should take this into consideration.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, which is not included in the price of the over night stay.

We just got back from a trip to Wiesbaden to visit friends and stayed at the Fontana. We had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly. They gave us a wonderful room with plenty of room to move about and it was very clean. The hotel is situated on a side street near the Kurhouse which keeps you out of the noisy area but was close enough to walk down to all the restaurants in the city center to eat. We were also able to park right out front! The breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day and had plenty of variety. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to that area. Everyone on the staff also spoke english which was a tremendous help for us.

The carpeting was very dirty. My wife dropped something behind a seat cushion. When she pulled her hand out it was black with dirt. When my wife complained about the front desk being vacant most of the time, the manager was surly and rude. They advertised wireless internet, but neither we or the staff could make a connection.
