I found this hotel on hostelworld, and was plesently suprised upon my arrival that it greatly exceeded what I, as a backpacking student, would have expected//required. The hotel has a very grand interior whith beatiful decoration. The rooms were large and clean, again everything you would want. The only problem for my room was the distance to the bathroom, which was two floors above. The staff were very helpful. The attached resturant is also delicious, and reasonably priced. Finally, the hotel is easy to find from the central train station, another big plus!
All in, I would very much reccomend this as a place to stay, it has a very relaxing atmosphere.

Very nice old hotel with lots of character. The rooms are spacious, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Even just walking from the front lobby to the room is like a walk through a small museum.
Highly recommended, especially for the weary traveller who can relax in a big spacious bath tun (rare in German hotels) !

Nice hotel with clean rooms and well maintained facilities

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and all the staff with whom I had contact were friendly, eager to please, and helpful. The rooms have a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the center of Wiesbaden. I would definitely stay here again.
