Stayed here for three night for some R&R; was not disappointed...lets start with the good stuff...:
- Great gym, state of the art gym, most gym junkies have not seen this technology before as it is generally only in the hands of professional athletes; - air compression Kaiser equipment, go for a session everyday and feel the difference; amazing strength training, enjoy cause I have not seen it so readily available anywhere else, then hit the spa up - natural spring spa on the top floor of the complex;
- Bar - very cool and old school, it is a cigar bar so if you are are non smoking type steer clear but otherwise very nice;
- Breakfast, very very good, ok not a steal at 35 euro - life is for living - however if that is going to bother you in terms of cost then probably this place (or probably anywhere nice is not for you;
- Service - outstanding - during my stay purchased a new Boss jacket at one of the many good stores nearby, there was a slight mis-stitch in one of the seams, took it to front desk to get is resolved at a tailor before I wore it out for dinner - the gent at the front desk was very attentive, requested the receipt and organized the shop I purchased it from to fix it within an hour and a half;
- Location - great, good shops/restaurants nearby, all of which were good, Casino within staggering distance for the drunken gambler in all of us, airport is not far away, could not be better;
- Old feel style about the place - no flimsy card key that does not work at 2am, but an old fashioned key, it was very nice
Now things that could be done better:
- Size of the rooms; do not bring your cat to swing it, the rooms are very nice but quite small;
- Struggled to find anything else....
Room Tip: Try your best to get a large room (ie check the footage on them prior to arrival, as some of the old...
