We had a 3rd floor room which was ok. No air con so it was ridiculously hot, especially at night. We had to open the window which made the noise from the busy road and adjacent railway line almost intolerable.

Staff were on the whole off-hand bordering on rude, with the exception of the gentleman on reception.

Breakfast was advertised as until 10 am but we were made to feel like nuisances when arriving at 9:50. The breakfast was ok though.

There are lots of better, more reasonable, quieter and, I suspect, much friendlier hotels in town. I will certainly try one of these on any subsequent visits.

They advertised a "double room", for 49 euros online. We called and emailed, there was some confusion and after five days when it was too late for us to find another hotel they made us an "offer". The price was 49 euros "per person" in a "double" so now the price was 98 euros. When I tried to make sense of this I was told " a lot of people have trouble with this" but nothing was going to change. Being 6000 miles from home and very tired I relented. The room was OK but noisey and up two flights of stairs after the elevator! This place sucks and is a ripoff.

We booked 2 rooms at this hotel without knowing what it was like. We took our two children with us and found it was fantastic. the kids had a room on the ground floor which was massive and we had one on floor 2 which we found very comfortable. All the staff at the hotel were very helpful despite my poor German. We enjoyed the pool and the steam room and the hospitality at the bar later in the evening. Breakfast was excellent and parking was easy. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights whilst visiting the Christmas markets in Rudesheim, Koblenz and Frankfurt. After arriving very late at night, following a long day traveling, we were quickly able to get into our room - No. 117 over in the annex.

We were so tired we would have slept anywhere! In the morning we noticed that our room was very basic especially compared to the one advertised in the leaflet and the website. But it was quite big and clean. The shower was also wonderful!

We ate three breakfasts and two evening meals at the hotel. I am quite a fussy eater and was concerned at first but the food was really nice and I definitely didn’t go hungry.

The bar closes at 8pm but I think if you have gone away then it is a bit sad if you want to spend all of your time in a hotel bar….? It was only a short walk into Rudesheim - a really nice little town with several other bars! The area around Rudesheim is also pretty with lots of castles.
