The check-in here was fast. The pics on the website make the hotel look better than it is when you get here, although it looks OK. We got there and although the room looked clean, the dirty towels from the previous person and rubbish in the bin were still there!! We complained and the beds were changed (eek) and the towels, and the room cleaned again. The bathroom was clean but quite pokey. The "monsoon shower" turned out to be a bit of a let-down, just a large shower head! The shower screen didn't fit well enough so water went everywhere! They didn't tell us wi-fi was free in the lobby, and its expensive in your room!
Don't book this place unless you have a car, it really out of the way. Breakfast is expensive, but McD's is next door!

I would have liked to give this property three ***, but if you have been to other Motel One's, this simply does not compare. The rooms are clean, linen and towels OK, decent breakfast, but it is so far out of Frankfurt (situated on an industrial street behind the MacDonald's), that I would only stay again if I had to. There is really very little within walking distance (other than the McDonald's) and this self-service motel lacks the post-modern charm of the other Motel One in which I have stayed (Frankfurt Niederrad). They do offer free WiFi in the lobby. If you are in the area for work and want to find a clean and cheap bed for the night this can work for you. If you want anything more, look elsewhere.

Out for the World Cup we stayed in Motel One for 2 nights
As with all these types of hotels its a credit card check in on an automated door system so remember to book in advance

Rooms were big enough but basic but spotlessly clean and adequate if you have just a few nights to stay

No restaurant but a breakfast room serving traditional continental cold meats and cheese but with the usual yoghurts and fruit on top

Location is well out of Frankfurt but only a short bus trip to Offenbach centre which has som good restaurants and bars and has the underground which takes you into Frankfurt in no time at all

The thing is that this is a value for money no frills motel and will do you if you just want a place to crash or a couple of nights en route

We were happy with it along with the 100 English,Mexican and Swedish fans who also resided for the weekend
