This hotel is located outside the city centre close to the new Wilhelmshohe train station, and hence very convenient for those arriving on ICE (Inter City Express) trains, on an elegant boulevard not far from the 18th-century palace. Rooms on the front side have some traffic noise, virtually eliminated by the double glazing (but a possible problem in summer). Basically they offer the usual solid German business hotel package, with an exceptionally generous bathroom. The restaurant is light and airy, and the breakfast buffet everything you would expect from a Geman hotel of this kind. Overall, very acceptable for an overnight stay.

“Good for one night”
This is a conveniently located hotel within walking distance of the park and castle and two good restaraunts. Good breakfast buffet. No real frills but a nice bed in a small room with decent bathroom. Unpretentious, simple, quiet and clean. Friendly staff. Perfect for the traveler looking for a decent accomodation at a reasonable price and not much more. Fine for a one or two night stay when passing through.
- Liked — Quiet room
- Disliked — Dark hallways that required the guest to turn on the hall lights to read the room number.
