I stayed in this hotel for almost two weeks along with some of my friends during a business trip.
The hotel is located next to the motorway and is a good choice for the passer by. Most attractive feature of this hotel is its wide breakfast menu. As some of us were vegetarians, we found some good vegetarian stuff to eat. The hotel chefs were very cooperative and prepared some good vegan dishes upon our request.
The rooms were not at their best and need more maintenance.
My overall experience with this hotel was OK.

I can think of staying a gain in this hotel.

We are glad to stayed in Best Western Kassel. Most impotant they have Great family rooms as our wished. Friendly, clean, good service n facility sauna, swimming pool, fitness, good price quality.
We were just passing by city Kassel from our Berlin city trip, decided to stay one night with planning to visit Herculas statue and Wilhelmshöhe Park. A friendly information desk city point shopping centre helping us to find a hotel... via hotel network system we found this hotel in Kassel ;)

I reserved a hotel room in June in Kassel in July 6th, 2011. I had tickets to the USA World Cup game in Wolfsburg and needed a hotel close to Frankfurt. I reserved the room with my credit card and was guaranteed a late arrival. I even asked the hotel to note my late arrival in my reservation. I called the hotel back the night before my stay to confirm my hotel room with a late arrival. I was guaranteed the room and even told, “you reserved with your credit card, you will have no problem.” I arrived at the hotel very late like I stated in my reservation and phone conversation only to find my room had been cancelled and given away. The hotel was also completely booked and they did not have a room for me. The night watch man could only say he was sorry and did try to find us a room in another location. The problem with the other location was it was next to a train station, no parking, and all night bar. It was 1:45 in the morning and we did not feel comfortable looking for parking and walking through the downtown area. We drove back to the hotel and told them the hotel they sent us to was in a questionable part of town. I called and spoke with the front desk manager the next morning and she assured me the hotel manager would e-mail me but he never did. The only explanation the hotel could give me, “Were sorry for our mistake.” We ended up driving to Frankfurt to our next destination, exhausted and frustrated. I would not have written this on trip advisor had the manager contacted me back like he was supposed to. Not costumer friendly.

The hotel is a bit old, but comfortable and clean.
The breakfast is very good.
I paid 75€ breakfast included, very good price for a 4 star hotel.
