“Ultra modern in an old leafy neighborhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011

The hotel is a short tram ride from the main train station. No problem if you have the tram number and the name of the stop right across from the hotel. Ask the hotel or at the tram office by the stop across from the train station. Although it's located in an older building in an older neighborhood, we were immediately impressed by the modern hip style of the rooms. The bistro in the hotel was excellent for dinner. Our price included breakfast which was very expansive including eggs cooked to order. As mentioned by others, the room has a glass enclosed shower that hides nothing.

“Master of the Messe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011

I stay here at least once a year whilst visiting Frankfurt for business. It's not luxurious or very fancy, but it's a nice place to stay.

It's walking distance to the Messe, and if it's too cold for you the tram stops virtually outside the hotel (and your Messe entrance card is valid for the tram too). Unfortunately, the rate during the fair does increase substantially, and there is a minimum 4 night stay.

The glass showers make sharing a room difficult with all but the most intimate companions. Otherwise the rooms are spotlessly clean, simple and modern, perhaps bordering on a little bare. Some of the rooms can be on the small side (in the front) and some are enormous (ground floor suites at the back). Your keycard is required to access your floor and to open your door, so don't forget it. The room numbers projected onto the floor are a nice, funky touch. The beds are comfortable.

Free Wi-Fi! And make sure your rate includes the really fantastic breakfast buffet. It features the best of the lovely on-premises bakery and deli counter, along with delicious eggs, sides, fresh fruits and cereals. The gym is extremely basic and in the basement, making it easy to skip your morning workout.

The service is really outstanding, friendly and personable. The staff always do their best to accommodate any request, even going so far as to buy 20 kilos of German cheese for us and preparing it for air travel.

Close to the hotel are a number of small restaurants and various small bodega style stores. I don't know if it's the best location for sightseeing in Frankfurt as we're usually working the entire time that we're there. This is an easy property to recommend.

Room Tip: Rooms to the front have a better view, rooms to the back are larger.

Dear Javera,

thank you very much for taking time to rate us online and the great response.
It is a great pleasure to welcome you every year in our hotel.

The high rates during the fair time and the minimum length of stay are unfortunately usual for hotels which are situated in walking distances to the exhibition area...we are sorry of that.

We really appreciate your kind acclamation and are looking forward to seeing you again in January 2012.
If there is anything we could assist you with just let us know and of course we will prepare your cheese again if you want...

All the best for you and happy holidays!

“Quiet, comfortable, nice food, decent location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2011

I had a twin/double room (2 beds pushed together) which was very spacious with a decent flat-screen TV, an ipod dock, free apples and some chocolates. The bed was comfortable - not supreme luxury, but not bad at all - and everything was nicely laid out and clean. The location of the hotel is a bit off the beaten track but the benefit of that is that it is nice and quiet! And it's not miles from anywahere - t's c.5 mins by tram to the hauptbahnhof/city centre, 2 mins to the messe and a 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants around Bockenheimer Warte. The breakfast I had was very nice - eggs/bacon cooked to order and a really good selection of cold cuts, breads, pastries cereals etc etc.

Can't really comment on the value though as I stayed here during the motor show and paid €325 for a night which isn't good value anywhere! It will obviously be a lot cheaper in non-fair weeks and if it's pricing is in-line with the other Flemings places then I would say it would be very good value.

Room Tip: I was on the ground floor, looking into the central courtyard - it was very quiet at night.

“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

I stayed in this hotel for a business trip of 6 weeks. I felt like at home in this nice hotel

first the rooms were well-decorated in a contemporary style. You can shower in a transparent glass shower in the middle of the room, this original arrangement give more space and light to the room. But just don't forget to close the curtains just front of the shower...

All professional staff were really enthusistic, polite and gave really good advices to help discovering the city.
the perfect location is also really good: the tram stop just front the hotel and you can be in only 2 min maximum to city center (10 minutes walk). No need to have a map, this is really straight forward. No remark regarding the noise in the hotel (tram or clients), for me really quiet. You have also some bars and shops not far to the hotel, which is really appreciated when you stay in a hotel for a long period.
The breakfast is delightful, a big buffet with a large range of fresh fruits, yogurt, german specilities, ... excellent. Big range also of menu for dinner at night.
I would strongly recommand this hotel.

“Solid, good, average, OK, not exiting but it's just for biz travel anyway”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2010

Staying here for business in the area is a good reason to choose this place – especially as the others that are nearby are not really attractive. But the building does not seem to have been planned as a hotel so some details are a bit off. This includes the size of the rooms, but these are quite well arranged. The design is quite average, and there is also quite some noise from the street and the tram that runs there.

Overall, it’s a quite OK choice. Probably, it’s worth to book on of the larger rooms and insist on the back side as well.
