Having happily stayed at the 25Hour Hotel Wien a few days before our trip to Frankfurt, I was quite confident enough to think that this same branded hotel would not disappoint. But it just wasn't the 25Hour brand that made me decide to book with them, but their affordability for a hotel in Frankfurt. Also important to note that our stay here was only for one night to catch our flight next day morning thus, the rigor for us to fully experience the hotel was slightly dampened because of the very short stay.
While the location wasn't as convenient to most tourist attractions, a tram right in front would take you right in the heart of Old Town Frankfurt in less than 10 mins; they also sold the tickets for these trams in the reception. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and very comfortable. There was also a presence of a well regarded, Michelin rated (confirm this with them if it is rated) restaurant right in the hotel that served everything from breakfast to dinner and seemed popular to the well heeled locals of Frankfurt. They also had a lounge next door for free Nespresso coffee, computer access while watching in their huge flat screen TV.
This is isn't your usual hotel though. No bellboys. No room service (though they do have suggestions for food deliveries). But for the price, this couldn't be beat. Don't think though that this hotel is extremely funky for the less brave traveller. Like the 25Hour Hotel Wien, their cool design was done in good taste.
Room Tip: Check and make sure that the rooms you book have air-conditioning if this is something you require.
