We stayed at Fleming's in Dec. 2011. Location is good - a 2 minute walk to Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and 10 - 15 minute walk to the city center. The immediate area around the hotel is also pretty decent, although the red light district is only a few blocks away. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and polite. They all also spoke English really well. There is a nice bar and restaurant in the hotel lobby area as well. Rooms are good - if you travel frequently in Europe you know that "4-star" can mean a lot of things, so I'm happy to report that Fleming's is on the upper end of that range. The showers are all glass, so keep that in mind (anyone in the room can see you - this wasn't a big deal for me). Beds are so-so, but that's common in Europe. Everything is really clean, and the comforters are great. Parking is very secure and only 15 euros per day, not too bad. Or you can take your chances and park on the street for free. What really bumps this hotel up, for me, is the free wifi and the awesome free breakfast. These are big plusses in Europe where wifi is not typically free, and breakfast can be 18+ euros per person, and isn't even that good. Fleming's has a big variety of foods to choose from - eggs, ham, bacon, cereal, fruits, cold cuts, breads, pastries, jams, juices, coffee, tea, bottled waters, salads, etc. All included and as much as you want. And it's very tasty as well. Between breakfast and wifi you can save a good 30+ euros per day. Add the fact that the hotel has really reasonable rates, and I would definitely recommend Fleming's and would stay there again.
