My (not very favourable) impression of the Tryp was influenced by three things:
1. A ludicrous room rate of 300 euros
2. The fact that I was not asked if I wanted a smoking room or not and was put into a foul smoking room, the stench was overwhelming even with the window wide open
3. A pretty poor meal at their restaurant

I suppose to do business or attend an exhibition and in another room this would just be a reasonable business hotel; just steer clear of dinner.

This hotel was excellent. Great food, excellent service and very clean hotel :)

excellent hotel, clean, modern, with air-con which is very good for hot summer weather.

Location is excellent for trade fair, less so for town centre. tram runs frequently to central railway station in about 15 mins.

Hotel has fitness centre (bike, elliptical trainer and treadmill) and sauna. Is located a short walk away from large wellness centre rebstockbad.

Has excellent breakfast. Large choice of hot and cold food.

stayed here for a 3 day visit to frankfurt. We arrived at 1145 on the friday morning after an early flight did not think that we would get our room but seemed no problem and we were allowed into the room.

Room was 114 on the first floor to the back of the hotel, it was clean, spacious and comfortable. We were room only so did not try the food.

If your wanting a hotel to base yourself at to see frankfurt i would recommend this hotel. You can get tram 17 into the central station this contacts with all public tranpsort ie bus,tram,sbahn(overground trains) and u bahn(underground trains). If there is more than one of you look at a group ticket you can get up to 5 adults and 2 children on it for aroun 9.50 in the frankfurt zone and 14.50 to get from the airport. These are day ticket so you do save money as an adult day ticket in frankfurth is 6 euros each per day then you would have to add on the extra to the airport.

Oh get a decent transport map as well the one sold at the tourist information is poor the hotel provided a better one free. The transport sytem can be diffcult to understand but to get to and from the airport you need to get a S8 or S9 train. It says frankfurt haptbanhof (central station) on it or hpf for short.
