Have just returned from a three night stay at this hotel for xmas markets and shopping in Frankfurt. Would recommend this hotel. Breakfast was great and really set us up for the day out and about in Frankfurt. We got the train €3.90 from Frankfurt Flughafen to Konstablerwache and the hotel is just a two minute walk. The hotel was comfortable (We had a twin room no 71 on the seventh floor and the room temperature was lovely. The bathroom is small but functional. There are plenty of eating options in the immediate area. We were able to get coffee from reception during the day and we found the staff friendly and welcoming. Loved Frankfurt, the markets and fantastic shopping on the Zeil. We will be back.

I started my travel to German in this hotel and it was a great start! Tha staff was very friendly, very helpful and the room was comfortable enough. The breakfast at the hotel is nice, with a lot of options. The location is also a good one, near the train station and the commercial zone. TIP: In the Zeil area, during weekends, there are a lot of merchants on the street, so it's a nice way to eat and meet people from Frankfurt!

A classic BW corporate offering, the Scala has all of the facilities you'd need in a stopover hotel, with no frills and efficient, friendly service. Rooms are on the small side but clean and comfortable, with extremely effective soundproofing (our room fronted the main street and was next to the lift shaft - we heard neither). The room wasn't overheated as so many are at this time of year, and the bathroom was small but adequate. The promised complimentary room service coffee arrived on time and the hotel is conveniently located 200m from the tube station with a direct connection to Frankfurt airport. The main shopping drag was, as promised, just around the corner, offering plenty to eat. I didn't try the hotel buffet breakfast as I thought it overpriced but a corner cafe on the way to the tube station provided delicious pastries and good coffee to go. Given the budget price, in one of Europe's more expensive cities, I thought this was extremely good value, although the size of the room would have been a problem f I had been staying for longer, or if I had a family with me. That said, I didn't ask for a big room, and I'm sure that if I'd requested a move that would have been possible.

The staff and the reception was bad unsympathetic don't respect the visitors ...rooms not clean ..no air condition ..small rooms and bathroom ....
