I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and haven't yet been massively impressed. The rooms don't seem to be too much larger than I would expect from a travel lodge and although the room decor is modern, it's pretty sparse and clinical. The hotel has a small fitness room, but no pool/sauna. The hotel restaurant is expensive and the menu is quite limited. However, my biggest gripe with the hotel is that they will not provide you with an iron for your room. You are expected to use a single ironing room ,... not great for a hotel in this price range. To be honest the NH has the feel of a much cheaper hotel.

If you have to stay in Niederrad, the Innside and Novotel Hotels are in similar price range and are much, much better with far better facilities.

i was on a business trip in Frankfurt, only 2 days and this hotel was close to the office I was about to visit ( this is my second visit there). The hotel is situated near the airport ( 10 min or may be less, drive) and it is located in a industrial area ( it is ideal if you are planning to go in one of the offices around this area), but quite far from the city center ( half an hour at least). Please keep in mind that there are free bused from/to this hotel/airport ( I didnt know and I paid 18 Eur taxi for nothing). I liked the hotel because it was very clean and the staff were polite. Unfortunately I had a very short stay both times, but I would recommend it for a stay ( I mean business trip/short stay).

I was in Frankfurt for business November, 2011.

I had been there a few times before, but this time I had was not a student.

The hotel is VERY well situated. When you look on a map, you can see it is about 10km from the airport and maybe 8km from the center of Frankfurt.

To stay in Frankfurt is quite expensive, so this hotel (although not entirely cheap) is a good find. They is a cafe' style of buffet for breakfast (not included) and have a bar that serves food and drinks throughout the day. The rooms are more than adequate and the decor within is a cool euro funky.

The staff were very helpful and spoke fluent english. The were more than willing to provide cabs or directions when needed.

The hotel is within walking distance for the METRO (2 Euro) and cabs are quite frequent (15 Euro) to the Frankfurt Center. The same METRO will also get you to and from the Airport.

What I did discover this visit is that there is a walking trail along the river that you can take right into town. It is frequented by families and bikers (who all have bells and lights) and makes for a spirited walk/jog into town.

In all, this is a great little hotel that has everything one needs when spending time in the Financial Hub of Germany.

We use this hotel when we are traveling from the Netherlands to Austria. We drive 3 hours to Frankfurt, stay the night here an then travel onwards. This hotel is conveniently near to the Autobahn. The rooms are clean, the bathroom and shower perfect. When you book this in a weekend day, it's quite cheap, around 50 euro per night for two. However, the breakfast is 19 euro pp, so you're better of taking your breakfast at the nearby mccafe. The restaurant is okay, nothing extraordinary, the staff very young and quite inexperienced.
