“Outdated hotel in a very strange location”

The hotel looks old, chip and empty. Hardly even a three star hotel. Personnel is slow and ineffective.
if you look at a map the hotel seems to be close to the center, but i didn't like the walk around because the area surrounding the hotel looks not safe.
everything is shabby and chip, food in the restaurant is not to the standards, although breakfast is satisfying.
i think it is easy to find a better one for the same money.

“Nice Hotel With Good Facilities !!!”

Hi,

It's a nice hotel indeed with wifi free internet at room. Room is spacious and had a nice sleep as bed is too comfortable. The location of the hotel is not much central I belief. Breakfast has few varities exists and food is delicious also. Altogether this is a nice property but for young guys I can't recommend rather recommend to stay at main city of Frankfurt am main. As a business traveler I'll be there again for sure. Sorry! I forgot to mention that, lady at concierge is so helpful, courteous and beautiful too.

Cheers,
Md. Mahbubur Rahman [Shohag]

“Located on near the river. 3 star hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2010

Nice hotel, good for business trips.
The rooms were clean and tidy but not 4 * quality. Compared to the 4* Melia in Berlin the night before this hotel is not close to the same standard.
Business rate of €97 but I would say that it was a little overpriced as the Melia in Berlin was €105 and much nicer.
Good size room but basic room facilities. Old style TV but free wifi.
Breakfast not included as I had an early start.

“Avoid at all costs”

€350 for a "superior room" which was anything but. (trade fair on in Frankfurt so hotels hike their prices accordingly). Tiny reception area, one lift for entire six floors. Small room, sink in bedroom, no bath, shower in corner. After complaining was told that this was an "open bathroom" layout! No toiletries other than liquid soap dispenser in shower. It was the Steigenberger name that attracted me to this hotel. How they ever lent their name to this dump I will never know. Never again.

“European Christmas Vacation!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2010

The hotel wasn't too difficult to find, if you know your way around Frankfurt! Thankfully we had assistance from my son who is stationed in Germany and his fiance who lives in Bavaria. Check was easy and quick. The staff spoke English very well which we were very thankful for. The room was clean and equipped with a flat screen TV, with at least one English speaking channel. Our room, although small, was comfy. The view of town from our window looked awesome after it snowed. Parking.....not so great, and costly. No breakfast or any other creature comforts that we frequently see in the states, but very comfortable anyway.
