The hotel is an excellent location if you are travelling on budget - 3 minutes walk from the central railway station. The reverse side of this, however, is that it is terribly noisy outside throughout the night, and if you want to get to sleep, make sure you bring some earplugs. I did, and had almost no problem.

My single room was quite small but it had a comfortable bed, a desk and a wardrobe - and what else should you expect from a budget hotel?

The staff are friendly and helpful without going out of their way to please you. On the whole, I found the service quite adequate.

The hotel seems to be extremely popular with residents of other German towns who come to visit Frankfurt at the weekends, so there was hardly enough room for everyone in the small breakfast room on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast was good but nothing outstanding.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget, especially if you want to be close to the railway service.

We were very satisfied with the Hotel Cristall. Our double room was clean and quiet and the proximity to the train station a huge plus! The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent! We'll definitely be staying there again.

Excellent service,with small details which are quite rejoicing: you get a free bottle of water upon arrival, and some chocolate on your bed (for a three star hotel, I was quite impressed). The room was a little bit small but very modern and extermely clean . The breakfast was better than expected, and there is even a "bio corner"where you can get bio -orange juice, cereals etc.I would definitely come back again and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Frankfurt.

The hotel is located next to the rail station. My first impact was not so good because my expectation was too high. In fact the review that the other travellers issued on trip advisor and hrs.com was very good. My opinion is that the room, located in the street side, are too noisy (on Friday night I was not able to sleep by 4 a.m. because of the screaming on the street). In addiction, the room lightness is too low (during the night). The room are clean but the furniture are old.
The breakfast is not rich. Let me tell that the price is low (I paid 55 €/night included the breakfast) and probably You can’t expect a so high quality for so low price, anyway is not correct to agree the good report that I had seen before the booking. If it is allowed I can tell that the closed President hotel, were I stayed, it’s a better choose.
