Given the central location and the overall boutique-like design the Turm Hotel is a good bargain. The underground is close by and the shopping area easy to reach in a few minutes walk.
The rooms are clean and decently equipped, fulfilling any basic needs. Free Wi-Fi is definitely an asset worthwhile mentioning.

The breakfast buffet is limited, but would have been satisfactory if there wasn't that horrible coffee. We felt that it tasted somewhat as if there was a residue of cleaning fluid in the coffee machine or else - definitely a surprise in a place that did receive gastronomic awards in the past.

I had a business trip and stayed at Turm hotel. It's nice, located in the central part of the city. In 7 -10 min. you will reach the shopping area.
The breakfasts were really tasty. There was a good variety of food. The bad thing is that tea cups are plastic and, probably, have some fissures, because water drains away.
I had a room for smokers and there was a typical smell for that.
As the hotel is in the center you won't fall asleep with an open window. You'll always hear traffic noise, especially because there are to parking buildings behind the hotel. But this won't happen if you keep the window closed.

I stayed at the Turm while attending a conference at a nearby University. The hotel is located close to a subway station and several bus lines. It is only a few minutes from downtown. The hotel was clean and secure. The morning breakfast buffet was quite nice. There was plenty of food including meats, yogurt, eggs, cereal, pastery, juices, coffee and tea. Free wifi was available by request from the front desk. The neighborhood has several restaurants, health food stores and a pharmacy. It is a short walk to a post ofice and a bank. Nothing fancy, just a nice place to stay while visiting Frankfurt,

I stayed here alone whilst in Frankfurt on business, the room smelled as though someone had been chain-smoking in it for a week! It was also extremely hot, and I didnt feel safe to sleep with the windows open. My own fault though, I didnt complain, as i knew the hotel was fully booked and couldn't get a room change anyway. Breakfast was very nice, and presented really well. There isnt a restaurant, so no chance of room service. There is a supermarket on the street behind the hotel which is handy for water and nibbles.
The guy who checked me in was great and very welcoming!
