i asked for a non smoking room and it was smelling really weird. Not smoke smell but the smell of filthy shoes or socks. I ordered for a club sandwitch, in the catalog it was writing 11 euros, they charged me 13, (without the room charges).

In the epoch of information it is embarrassing charging 9 euros per day for internet connection up to ~150 Kbps downloading.

I spent 2 days lay-over during my trip from India to Canada. I found my stay very relaxing and comfortable, which allowed me to rest and recover and, consequently, made the total trip enjoyable.
The room and restaurant had all the things that I needed and so I found no need to search for or ask for anything.
I did travel into "downtown" Frankfurt. The hotel has convenient access to the SBahn for that trip. The hotel location, in itself, is in a very quiet part of town, especially on the weekend. So the location is a happy blend between distance from downtown where it is quiet and closeness to downtown for access.

I made a last minute decision to attend the Frankfurt motor show but as all the hotels in the city centre were booked solid I was forced to do some research on hotels further afield (on tripadvisor where else) and ended up booking the Novotel as it was the closest to the convention centre, right next to an S-bahn station and reasonably priced. I was not disappointed with my decision, the hotel staff were excellent, our room was spotlessly clean and although it faced onto the train tracks I didn't hear anything that disturbed my sleep during the night. Was exhausted after two days at the motor show so we spent the last evening in the hotel bar, staff were very friendly and engaging. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Frankfurt.

I stayed there during the Frankfurt Book Fare. The room I got was nice, spaceous and clean. The downer was, that the internet access is very expensive, and either charged by the hour or as a flat rate per day. Essential things like this should be included in any Hotel price. The breakfast buffet was VERY nice, with a great food quality ! It's a 10 to 15 minutes walk from the Hotel to the S-Bahn, which connects you to the Frankfurt Main Railway Station in 5 or so minutes. If you have to go to the Frankfurt Messe Grounds, it is quite a journey back & forth, no matter how you go, by Taxi or S-Bahn. The food in the Hotel Restaurant was OK. The Club sandwish in the Bar, absolutely great !!
