After reviewing the glorious comments on this site I booked a double room. The room itself is nice and clean and it has everything that we need. On the positive side, interesting color lights and decor, on the negative side tiny and old TV and average bed. The hotel has the smallest lift (elevator) I have ever seen that fits one bag! The breakfast area is in the basement and you can get claustrophobic.

The location has its advantages and disadvantages - the area is well connected being close to main railway station. But around the station and vicinity is red light area and lot of noisy dwellers.

Overall, I would not give more than 3 stars for this.

In a time when professionalism, superior service, and courteousy is rarely experienced, it was truly refreshing to meet a hotel staff and stay in a hotel that is truly exceptional. I got sick for 4 days while there and your complete staff- Zlatko, Erika, Laila, Mario took very good care of me. They put some hospitals I've been in to shame. They made me feel like I was visiting a family member with their care and kindness. I spent 10 days there, room was always clean, the breakfast outstanding and my questions or concerns promptly taken care of. There is no need for me to look anywhere else to stay when I come back to Frankfurt. Thank you all for an unforgetable experience, I got far more value than the price I paid.

I've stayed at this hotel twice (two summers in a row) and I can say that its staff is overly qualified and kind, its location is perfect, and it is very clean. The rooms are very small, but that's what you should expect anywhere in Europe. The price is great for what you're getting. The true value of this hotel is the staff: they will go to great lengths for you. I particularly enjoyed talking to a Canadian man who told us all about his transition to living in Frankfurt.

OK our room was a wee bit on the small side but was very comfortable for two people. We were in Frankfurt for three nights. On the the third day the bedding was all changed - unexpected but appreciated. The breakfast was very good value at 10 euros although the hot selection was limited - good quality with excellent service. We visited the Christmas market which was very enjoyable. Lots to eat and presents to buy. A bit more expensive than we thought it would be but worthwhile visiting.
A special mention must go to the Concorde staff who were all exceptionally friendly and helpfull.
