Rather tired but overall okay. Some fixtures did not work like shower feature on bath. Although overall adequate hotel. Good transport links. Easy to find if coming from Frankfurt.

Close to the centre of the city. No service available after 10:00pm.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel this year, and absolutely no complaints at all apart from the decor! This hotel just desperately needs a refurb to bring it into the 21st Century! The dark wood in the lobby, restaurant and bar area needs to be removed, and the whole place brightened up, and the dark, patterned tiles in the bathroom definitely need to go! Anyone buying a flat or house and finding a bathroom with that decor would instantly replace it with something white and modern!

Apart from the above, this hotel ticks every box, it is right next to the Hauptbahnhof for train arrival, its close to the autobahn also (easy to get to and from Frankfurt Airport), there are also trams that stop very close by, to take you into the centre of Darmstadt, or its just a 20 minute maximum walk.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Will probably stay here again, but would be nice to see that refurb!

Stayed for 1 night only. We didn't get in until midnight. The bar was closed as we were told it was empty. We asked for a drink and were told to use the mini bar in the rooms. We had just driven for several hours and wanted to unwind. No luck
Apart from this the hotel is very nice and breakfast was good with a wide choice. Rooms are spacious and clean.
I had a walk around the local area the next morning and there does not appear to be much to see. There is a college, a cinema and a main train station but other than those very little.
