We were given a room where the bed had not been made and there were damp towels in the bathroom. However, the pleasant staff quickly whisked us off to a room that was completely ready.
The hotel is on the first floor above the garage and the area with the rooms looks somwhat stark, but the reception area and the breakfast room is nice enough.
Although breakfast was not due be served until 7:30 am and we had to leave early, the reception said that we could go in for breakfast anyway.
Good location, right by the Luisen Center. Good hotel for a short stay.

A 3-star superior hotel. It is as good as some 4-stars I stayed in. The rooms are large, clean and pleasant, but have no view to speak of. The doors should be soundproof better - you hear a lot of what is going on in the hall. The location is central, but quiet, and easy to get to the train station. A clear recommendation for a stay in Darmstadt.

I have been many times to the Parkhaus Hotel in Darmstadt . First of all , you are only 15-20 minutes from Frankfurt Airport . Prices are much better than any hotel in Frankfurt of the same category . Very clean and quiet hotel . Breakfast is mostly fine . Bad points : no restaurant ! and no lift ( so you have to carry your luggage for a few stairs ) . On the other hand is a vey clean and well located hotel , on the Darmstadt heart center . Cross the street and you will have a mall , restaurants ( italian , indonesian , etc ) and bars . Definitevelly I recomend this for business men ( women ) on trip to Frankfurt .
