Hotel rooms in Darmstadt appear to be at a premium and this was the only one that came up on my corporate list. Don't know why as it was functional , clean and tidy with a warm welcome.
It was also very quiet, which meant and excellent nights sleep. I wasn't driving but it is located on top of a multi-storey, so no issues there.

Would definitely stay again

Very helpful staff. Visiting our son and he was allowed to have breakfast with us, which was excellent. Staff made reservations for us in Nuremburg and helped us when we decided to return later in our stay.

This is the first hotel I've ever been in where the check-in and check-out were handled within a minute. The reception crew was friendly, very friendly, and highly efficient. And that was only the reception. Staff in the breakfast room were equally friendly, just more efficient. The second morning there, I was recognised as "coffee drinker", and got a can coffee the very moment I sat down (yes, third morning as well).
The rooms were .. well .. fair enough I'd say. Minor damages to doors and furniture but certainly not annoying.
Actually the only waiting I did while in this hotel was for the coffee to cool down so I could drink it. I enjoyed that.

Best western hotel at Darmstadt is very nice hotel. I was really disappointed once I could not find 5 stars hotels in Darmstadt. I have found one hotel but it was full. Then I left with only one option which is best western hotel. I was quite comfortable knowing that hotel have GYM and swimming pool which it turned that there was no GYM or swimming pool in hotel. There was a big GYM outside hotel where daily 6 euro charge was not included in room reservation. It was so cold that I have to walk every day to GYM which I personally do not like. Anyhow Hotel was very small and Room was good. Breakfast was good. However I believe Best western location is excellent it is accessible to market honestly it is in the middle of market. Also internet was free of charged. I was never anticipated with such small hotel that all hotel staffs were very nice and very humble. They were very helpful and very understating. Their positive behaviors have totally changed my opinion about hotel and have made my stay at hotel very enjoyable. For short stay yes I do recommend to stay in this hotel as long as you do not care about GYM and if you do not plan to eat dinner because there was not dinner served.
