My husband and I stayed one night for the purpose of using the Kur Royal spa (fabulous). We had forgotten to bring our VAT (tax-free) form with us, and the desk worker told us it was no problem that we return the following day with the form to have the tax taken off (we live in Germany - this has never been a problem at any German hotel we've stayed at and we've traveled extensively.) I returned the next day, and a female desk worker initially (snottily) refused to take the form, then went around the corner to the manager's office and asked about it after I explained quite a few times that VAT forms are valid for German hotels. I heard the manager respond to her, but when she came back still refusing, I asked to speak to the manager and she said he wasn't there. I replied that she'd just talked to him(!) and she quickly decided she'd called him on the phone. I told her I heard him talking to her(!!), and then she decided that he WAS there, but he was on the phone. (His office was no more than 3 meters away, and he was not on the phone.) I said no problem, I'd wait for him, and she told me he wasn't coming out to answer my question. She refused to give her name (for the letter I'll be writing to the owners of this hotel) and am shocked that a manager would hide from his guests and listen from around the corner while his employees lie for him. I was quite embarrassed for him as I left.

It's a shame, as the location from this hotel to the Kur Royal spa is great, only a 5 minute walk through a nice park. Rooms aren't bad, breakfast is fine, but the decor is quite outdated. I 100% recommend finding another hotel however; this one is surrounded by other nice looking hotels who can't possibly treat their guests as poorly as the management of the Parkhotel.

Had a very nice stay here. Loved the location of the hotel, we were able to walk to all the sights and shopping we wanted to see.
Room was very large and comfortable with a small balcony overlooking a courtyard. Room also had a small kitchen in a closet with a cooktop, sink and fridge. My only complaint would be lack of a coffee maker.
Bathroom was clean as well as the room. Plenty of storage and closet space.
Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Also ate at the asian restaurant that is located in the hotel and it was wonderful. There is also a italian restaurant but we did not try that.
Staff here was nice and willing to answer questions.
We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel for three nights on recommendation from the couple whose wedding we were attending.
Easy journey by taxi from frankfurt airport approx 30mins.
Hotel staff were efficient and pleasant. The room we were given was large and spacious, particularly the bedroom..with a huge bed supplied to fill the room! The only quip we had was there was no room service...or tea/coffee making facilties in the room, and possibly the TV could of been upgraded to receive more english channels...only because there was the football, rugby and cricket on!
Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice.
Although i already knew this this price of the room jumped by fifty euros on the sunday night stay...this could of been due to the frankfurt motor show...just be aware! But yes would stay again...oh and the wedding was fantastic!

I spent one night at this hotel during the World Cup, having gone to Germany to watch the Argentina - Holland game (really terrible game...). The Hotel is very well maintained, and I was pleasantly surprised by my stay there.

It is located in a very nice area of Frankfurt, quite upscale. The rooms are large, with a small kitchennete, comfortable bed, very clean, large bathroom with bathtub. The only minus is that there is no air conditioning (which, I guess, is not needed often, but when I was there it was quite hot). Nothing special, but a nice room overall.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. And the breakfast is excellent. There is a lot of different things offered, and the buffet is much better than some 5 star hotels that I have visited.

I cannot comment on value for money, as I have no idea what the rate was (the room was part of a package for the World Cup game).

Overall, a pleasant surprise. If you get a good rate, this is a nice place to stay.
