My family of four stayed here. The location was super. The rooms were spacious (had 2 rooms), non smoking and very clean. Just don't take your showers back to back, you will run out of hot water. Be sure to bring your washcloth. For reasons unknown to us the motels we stayed in Europe, UK did not supply same. The Motel was just a block from the U.S. Army Base (now closed) where I served for 30 months 1966-68. Right out front there is a nice convenience store. To the right of that is a Grocery store. Downtown is just a short 15 min walk. And a Great town it is, with super people. Be sure to check out the Bratwurst stand while there. The old East-West German border is just a few miles to the West. There you can visit the Point Alpha Border Museum.
I want to thank my Bad Hersfeld German friend Thomas Schossow for telling me about this Motel. We were close to his home. So I got to spend a lot of time with him and his family.
I am looking forward to returning.
